Cowabunga Bay Basic Pass Deal... Finally!

I am so excited for summer this year. I plan on spending some quality time at the water park this year. I've been waiting for Cowabunga Season passes to go on sale this year.

KSL Deals has them for $49.98 a piece for the next few days. These passes are only good Monday thru Thursday 4-hour admission which is when I like to go anyways! I hate to go places like this on the weekends.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this deal is cheaper than the deal I've seen at Costco. If you want you can upgrade them to season passes at the park.

I also saw an ad in the HomeTown Magazine showing a coupon code good for May 11, 12, 13 & 14th for 40% all day passes. Coupon Code: HOMETOWN
Their season passes runs for $109 each for the year. Let me know if you purchase a pass. We can meet for playdates.

On my bike... all alone... what is your greenhouse

My grandfather had a greenhouse, my father has an office in another building. And as my brother Mike would say. Each of us needs our Medical Marijuana. An outlet, a nook, a space, an activity of our own that we can escape to or retreat.

Yesterday I was on my road bike. I rode through wind and rain. I was cold at some points. Even uncomfortable, but I was happy! Something about pushing my wheels in circles on the pavement allows me to create clearness in my thoughts. Re-evaluate my priorities, create balance and create future ideas.

Snow skiing also provides that opportunity for me, but because of other obligations and a very young child, I did not get up to the mountain once! Maybe I'll blame it on the weird snow year we had but mostly I'm going to blame it on the imbalance of the entrance of work in my life.

In short... don't forget your greenhouses. We all need to escape for mental clarity sometimes.

I hope you enjoyed reading my rantings and random thoughts. I'm going to try to share a little more about what I am doing and how we can help each other on this journey of life.

Can't help but share my Success

Today I received an amazing facebook message from a friend I shared the doTERRA oils with. It was simply a thank you. A thank you for sharing the oils with her and how she has had success with them.

Success is taking your children off steroid medications because you find a replacement in the use of doTERRA essential oils.

Success is when you reach for the oils before you reach for the cell phone to call the Doctor.

Success is the pain relief of an ear infection in under 45 minutes.

Success is learning a 6 month old baby is no longer a zombie from the side effects some of meds that were being "tried out" on her.

Success is the painful healing of embarassing maladies using the oils.

Thank you for sharing your Success with me!

The End of Couponing

Wow... after all the years of teaching others to save money by couponing its amazing that I am actually going to say I have folded up my folder and my files and I'm done couponing. Is it because there aren't any deals left to be had out there? Or is it because the Extreme Couponing Shows on TV ruined it for most general couponers? I'm not sure... but there are definitely better ways for me to spend my time and money now.

Don't get me wrong... I still use the Grocery Smarts list to prepare my list each week. But instead of investing in the newspapers I am printing a few coupons online here and there or purchasing in multiples on Ebay.

So my friends I am still determined to save you money. Stick with me through this transitional phase of my life. I am creating a new journey of wellness that will save me money in regards to my health and yours.

Update: Sold! Sienna Toyota Swagger Wagon

Have you ever seen the swagger wagon youtube clip. It seriously brings me to laughter every time I see it.

To all of those who have not yet joined the minivan movement it is now your chance to join the jones! This 2005 Toyota Sienna LE is up for grabs at a steal of a price. Now down to $9,000! It is priced to sell! Bring your own DVD and you can play it on the way home on this huge 12 in DVD player. You will never hear your kids again bc they'll be too busy watching movies in the car!

This is my sister's van and she has only ever had it serviced by the dealer.  It has the sought after removable 8th seat. She has now gone the way of the SUV and is sadly leaving these automatic doors behind. She no longer has children she has to lift into car seats.

I do have to tell you my minivan changed my life. No longer having to open doors for children. I didn't have to throw my shoulder out trying to lift them into my SUV height seats anymore.

If you buy this minivan from me (my siblings are in competition to sell it for her) I will throw in a free bottle of doTERRA wild orange oil! Yumm!

Click HERE to view this listing on KSL. Call Tiina @ 801.557.0876 if you want to go grab it. Tell her you heard about it from KAT! 142,000 miles but the dealer complimented her on taking care of it so well and told her its condition should propel it another 10 more years.

Candida Cleanse with doTERRA products

Alright friends... I have just returned from a cruise where I experience ultra indulgence. It's time to get my body back to normal. Join me in cleansing your body. Follow this amazing cleanse advice from Kathleen Preslar. Let's rid our bodies of the yeast inside.

Treatment Guide for Candida Cleanse

First 10 days of GX Assist, followed by PB Assist (finish the bottle).
Drink minimum 2 quarts water daily. Add lemon oil (start with a couple drops, don't add to every glass in the beginning. We don't want to throw you into major detox).

Reduce the amount of GX if strong reaction (i.e., itchy rash, abdominal pain, etc.)
I recommend starting right before the weekend (Friday right after school/ work). This will give the body time to adjust. Plan on a low key weekend at home.

After the above is finished, start Lifelong Vitality Pack (LLV). Cut LLV dose in ½ if reaction, then attempt increase again after 1 month.

Diet, no white flour, no white rice, no white potatoes, no sugar (any kind), no artificial sweeteners except Stevia (I use NuNaturals brand). Limited occasional amounts of agave syrup. 100% whole wheat or whole grains are fine. Brown rice, sweet potatoes, oats, and corn are fine. Watch labels and look at ingredients not nutritional content. Use organic and fresh as much as possible.

Lavender on bottom of feet before bed than layer with Citrus Bliss. If you wake up in the middle of the night reapply Lavender or Balance.

Call or email me to get wholesale pricing on all of the above products. kathy.alldredge@gmail.com or 801.750.4925

doTERRA Essential Oils for Daily Life... all in a days work.

Question I asked myself today, "Seriously what did I use before I started using essential oils?" It's amazing as I record today's usage of the oils. Granted we are not always all sick at the same time but something rocked through our house and hit us all a bit differently.

My Toddler... he had diarrhea and I had to borrow a diaper. I am thinking the new brand of diaper and then the next round of the runs did some crazy reaction to his skin. Instantly he had sore-like rashes on his thighs and bum. I was soo sad. I hate to see my children in pain.

Oil Usage:
Warm Tub with Lavender to sooth the pain
DigestZen on his tummy and feet to fight the diarrhea.
Lavender and Melaleuca diluted with carrier oil to fight the yeast like reaction (infection on his skin)
Frankincense on his feet to kill the infection.

My Elementary Schooler...he woke up early and after his breakfast told me he felt like it couldn't get a breathe out. This worries me bc he's my allergy kid. Food and elemental allergies. In the past I would just run for the benadryl and dose him just in case.

Oil Usage:
Now I grabbed the Breathe oil and rubbed it with FCO all over his chest and back. Then I had him do the Breathe inhaler technique. Click HERE to learn more about this technique.

ME... the NASTY Cold
Alright.. those who are close to me have witness me hit the wall this last Sunday. I know this nasty cold has been trying to catch me for weeks and I've been able to keep it at bay with On Guard... but maybe it was staying up too late and lack of sleep, but whatever it was that allowed it to break through it was relentless. At one point on Sunday I almost broke open an expired bottle of penicillin (I know scary! Don't tell) and then I decided I have doTERRA essential oils! I need to attack!

Question... was How to kill this cold?
In the past my solution was always to get to a Doctor and have him subscribe me something. Or run to the Drug Store stand in front a huge aisle of cold meds just to end up frustrated by a few off the shelf and hope one of them works. Well... not this time. You may think this an overkill but at different levels of this cold I had sore throat, congestions, cough, mucus build up.... the list goes on.

Oil Usage:
Eucalyptus in a neti pot to clear the mucus.
On Guard in hot water in the morning to clearn the mucus and fight off infection.
3 drops of each On Guard, Oregano, Frankincese, and Lemon in a capsule taken internally (2xs a day)
Breathe with FCO rubbed all over my chest and neck. Also Eucalyptus and Lemon.
Lavender under my sore nose but Peppermint on a q-tip inside of it to clear congestion.
Drop On Guard into my throat directly for sore throat and coughing.
Frankincense, Oregano, and OnGuard on feet to fight off infection.
5 drops of each Citrus Bliss and Lavender with FCO rubbed on my feet after I stop writing this list to help me sleep through the night.
But a bottle of On Guard on my night stand if I have to drop a drop in my throat during the night if I wake up coughing.... whew...

These are just some of the treatments I have used throughout the past few days. And again to those who know me. Aside from the muted voice... I am a new woman! Now Good NIGHT!

As always if you are interested in learning more about essential oils feel free to call or email me if you'd like a sample!

Clorox Pour Spout - No more splashing!

I had one of these for years ontop of my clorox so that it wouldn't splash everywhere. Then one day it broke and I thought it would be easy to replace. I was wrong... until today! It's called a Hopkins Spout that they use in the automotive industry. Aha! Click HERE or on the image and you can get one yourself from Amazon. What a find!

My washer sits on pedastals and I'm not that tall so I have to reach up and try not to spill the bleach. I'm looking forward to having this great little tool again!

Awesome Ideas for Kids Valentines Day Cards.

I am loving this photo Valentines Day card. I'm going to try to put something together with my kids this afternoon and get them printed at Costco. I'll probably get the lollipops there too. That reminds me... I have to remember to take my empty ink cartridges for refilling.

I'm wondering if I can grab these frogs at the dollar store. Not enough time to order from Oriental Trading. Click HERE for the free printable from "Crap I've made"
